The Ceduna Aboriginal Corporation Art gallery project is nearing completion, and I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of this spectacular facility. Not only will this provide a unique showcase opportunity for local artists, but the conference/meeting facilities will be incredibly valuable as well. Well done to Wayne Miller & the whole CAC team, as well as the multitude of local trades and businesses that have worked on this project, and I’m looking forward to when the official opening happens! The Clontarf Academy in Ceduna is doing great work with their young indigenous lads at Ceduna Area School, teaching them important life skills that help them achieve their personal and academic goals. It was a pleasure to be the Awards night in Ceduna, and see the levels of growth that each participant has realised throughout this year. Well done to all involved for a special night, and a dynamic year of Clontarf Academy Ceduna! See MoreSee Less

Really glad to see Clontarf continuing to make a big impact. Now in SA for 5 years!

Adelaide Crows AFL footballer Reilly O’Brien was this years winner of the AFL’s Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award for his mental health advocacy work in the community and throughout SA schools. He is a man of great capacity, and an example of someone who positively works across community. It was great to catch up with him again this week in Parliament House, and congratulate him on his well-deserved recognition. @reillyobrien1
The extraordinary Fowlers Bay with @epcruises which every South Australian should experience!
It’s a privilege and honour to be appointed as the Shadow Treasurer today, under the leadership of new Opposition Leader @vincent_tarziamp. The role of Shadow Treasurer is a crucial one to keep the government accountable for the ever-increasing cost-of-living, their breaking of key election promises, and highlight the alarming increase in debt levels since they’ve come into power. It’s a responsibility I take very seriously and am looking forward to the challenge ahead.
What an incredible night, no filter needed tonight! #aurora #auroraaustralis
Country football is back, and what a perfect day for it! 23 different clubs across 4 leagues across my electorate means I can’t be at all games, but great to be at Eyre United Vs Lock today to start their seasons.
I spoke to the media today about my concerns on the latest crime stats across our State. Our police work hard for our community, but are left struggling with insufficient resourcing. We have an officer shortfall of around 200 officers around the State, with more officers leaving the force than the number being recruited. This is exacerbating the challenge of getting police officers into regional SA, and the crime numbers in our centres such as Port Lincoln, Ceduna, and Port Augusta cannot be simply ignored!
We need to better look after our police officers who look after our communities.
Very blessed to live where I live!

Happy National Agriculture Day!
Thanks to all our farmers and primary producers around our countryside who work hard to put food on our tables every day!
Harvest is happening for most of our grain growers at the moment, and today is an opportunity to celebrate our hardworking farmers and an industry which contributes so much to our country. #NationalAgDay
The Year 6 Civics class at @portlincolnprimary school today was a lot of fun, speaking to a great bunch of kids about the three tiers of government and my role as a Parliamentarian. They had some good questions that kept me on my toes! Thanks for having me there guys! #portlincoln
